Schenley Plaza represents an exciting new venue for your special event.
To hold an event at Schenley Plaza, you must submit an application to the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy.

Please review the entire document, complete your application, and mail it to the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, Attention: Event Applications, 2000 Technology Drive, Suite 300, Pittsburgh, PA  15219.

The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy will review your application within 2 to 3 weeks.

Plaza areas available for special events
The Schenley Plaza Oval with Tent is available for 475 (standing)/250 (seated) people.
A permanent oval tent (60' x 80') with clear side walls provides protection from the elements. The side panels may be pulled back if you wish.

The Ornamental Garden is available for 100 (standing)/75 (seated) people.
Bordering the lawn, the Garden is an ideal gathering spot for smaller, more intimate affairs.

The Carousel is available for up to 19 (seated) people.
Its colorful menagerie of 15 animals ranges from a triceratops to a tiger, and it also features a wheelchair-accessible chariot and spinning tub for young children to ride with an adult. It is perfectly suited for a birthday party or other children’s event.
